I am a hornist- it is not actually called a french horn, but thats what I play, I love chamber music and contemporary music and I've been known to dabble in orchestral works, I don't know of too many classical musicians with blogs- but it seems fitting

Busy Busy Busy
Yesterday was my first day of work. I learned a lot about front desk services and my duties as a front desk agent in such a small hotel. I have to do some housekeeping chores like vacuuming and cleaning countertops, in addition to the standard check-ins/outs & reservation making. I don’t mind it; it’s all in the experience!
I had work again today (and I do again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day…then a day off, then 3 more days of work). Hopefully my responsibilities will really get drilled into my head. I want it to be second nature so I can learn even more and get as much out of the experience as I can.
I also had a meeting with my 5K committee today. We divvied up some more local businesses from which we’ll try to get sponsors. They also have really great ideas. It’s excellent that 2 out of 4 people on my committee have experienced this 5K before, as they can really help me out.
This is going to be the busiest semester of my life. It will make my trip to Australia even more worth it.

so today
so today, and yesterday and for the past few days- been way to busy to write blogs. I must cut down to just one a week or couple of weeks.
Anyway, my life has been taking amazing turns for the best. Really thrilled and excited about everything.

Canadian Road Trip 2.0
To Vancouver in BC (above Seattle)…
Start in LA, go up the 5 the entire time… Hit San Francisco (out of our way a little bit), Redding, Salem, Portland, Tacoma, Seattle, end result: Vancouver.
OH MAN. THIS WINTER BREAK?
Let’s just do this shit.
Or we can take the train to Seattle, rent a car and go up there, come back, ride the train home… bitch I have this shit on lock.
I can’t stop planning these trips…
Meh… this is all wrong- you need to take the pch up the coast and stop in the Big Sur, go hiking etc, then hit up san fran, take the 101 up through Eureka- drive into Arcata (thats the college town by Humboldt St) wicked hip- then drive up the 101 Oregon Coastline (the 5 is SO BORING AND UGLY!!! in fact- only a bunch of sheep stop it from being a worthless trucker route), hit up Newport and go to the Salmon Saffron for the best mussles ever. Then you drive into Seattle, and Vancouver- then!! to be REALLY cool, you go east and hit up Toronto and Montreal, go south back into the states and cross the midwest back into Vegas to spend whatever money could possibly be left- and then return to LA.
