I am a hornist- it is not actually called a french horn, but thats what I play, I love chamber music and contemporary music and I've been known to dabble in orchestral works, I don't know of too many classical musicians with blogs- but it seems fitting

Busy Busy Busy

Yesterday was my first day of work. I learned a lot about front desk services and my duties as a front desk agent in such a small hotel. I have to do some housekeeping chores like vacuuming and cleaning countertops, in addition to the standard check-ins/outs & reservation making. I don’t mind it; it’s all in the experience!

I had work again today (and I do again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day…then a day off, then 3 more days of work). Hopefully my responsibilities will really get drilled into my head. I want it to be second nature so I can learn even more and get as much out of the experience as I can.

I also had a meeting with my 5K committee today. We divvied up some more local businesses from which we’ll try to get sponsors. They also have really great ideas. It’s excellent that 2 out of 4 people on my committee have experienced this 5K before, as they can really help me out.

This is going to be the busiest semester of my life. It will make my trip to Australia even more worth it.
